Behind the wheel

I'm Emily! One of my first (and favorite) jobs was at a flower shop in high school. Turns out I'm a late bloomer who needed a couple of decades to find my way back.

In between, I spent 15 years in retail, from the Betsey Johnson stores in San Francisco to high-end vintage. My party trick is telling you what decade any piece of clothing is from. Vintage still shapes everything I make, especially the '30s, '40s and '70s, which is how I ended up driving a baby-blue '72 Ford full of flowers.

Long Lost Buds runs out of my home studio in El Sereno, where I've lived for almost a decade. My backyard is a micro flower farm, so you'll often find my own harvest at the truck. The goal is simple: spread a little joy, with great design and even better service.
